CoEnzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10 and Ubiquinone, is a compound that helps generate energy in your cells. Your body produces CoQ10 naturally, but production tends to decrease with age. Fortunately, you can also get CoQ10 through supplements.
As well as benefits to our skin, CoQ10 is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like compound that seems to have many health benefits. It is involved in the production of cellular energy and serves as an antioxidant.
Exercise performance can be affected by oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction. CoQ10 can help lower oxidative damage, promote exercise capacity and decrease fatigue.
Mix 1/5th of a scoop (approximately 50mg) with 50ml water, ideally with food.
Take 1-3 servings daily.
